SILive.com reports, “Back in March, we shouted our praises for Giorgio Giove of Brothers Pizzeria, a longtime Port Richmond dining establishment. We highlighted his success at competing in the American Pizza Championship in Wisconsin, where he placed first in Freestyle Acrobatics Dough Tossing, first in Fastest Pizza Maker and third in the Culinary Division.”

“Along with his winning medals, Giorgio nabbed a trip to Italy in April and represented the United States as part of the World Pizza Championship Competition in Salsamaggiore, Italy.  Word now comes from the masterful pizza maker that he recently filmed a commercial for a new pizza product being sold for in-home pizza makers — and he appears in the DVD that’s enclosed with the product, named Pizzaware. The advertisement can be seen on the website specifically for the product.”

“What’s more, Giorgio also has filmed an episode of “Extreme Makeover Home Edition,” the reality television series that airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on Ch. 7, ABC-TV. The show provides home renovations for less fortunate families and community schools. The show is hosted by former model, carpenter and veteran television personality Ty Pennington.”
