The National Restaurant Association today announced that Richard E. Rivera, FMP, Chairman and CEO of Rubicon Enterprises LLC, in Sarasota, Fla., was elected chairman of the Board of Directors for the 2007-2008 term during the Association’s recent Board meeting and annual convention in Chicago.

In addition, Michael S. Kaufman, president of Pond Hill Ventures LLC, in Chappaqua, N.Y., elected as vice chairman of the Board; and Michael Gibbons, president and CEO of Mainstreet Ventures, Inc., was elected treasurer.
