Dewey’s Pizza has launched a one-week trial of a summer-inspired menu item at all of its 25 locations. Dewey’s released its newest creation, the Peach Street seasonal pizza, on July 30. A team member created the specialty pie during an internal Recipe Battle contest.

The Peach Street pizza will be available through Monday, August 5, or while supplies last. It blends olive oil, mozzarella, fontina, fresh basil, Vidalia onions, prosciutto and white wine-infused peaches for a blend of sweet and savory flavors.

Dewey’s Pizza has stores in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky; Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton and Akron, Ohio; Kansas City; and St. Louis.

The Peach Street pizza was one of four winning pizza recipes from Dewey’s “Recipe Battle” contest this past spring. Some of Dewey’s best-selling and creative pizzas were invented by DewCrew team members, the company said. The Peach Street creator, Kennedy Yates, is a current team member at Dewey’s Grandview location in Columbus. Fans can anticipate the release of the remaining winning recipes in 2025.

“The Recipe Battle is an internal contest that our team members look forward to,” said David Igel, Dewey’s head of product innovation. “It’s an opportunity for our team members to showcase their creativity, and the contest creates positive energy and fun throughout our company. We were thrilled with the variety of flavors presented by the teams.”

Dewey’s received more than 50 entries during the spring contest period and awarded more than $1,200 in prizes, the company said.

Dewey’s Pizza is also running their Strawberry Macadamia Nut salad and their Arugula Prosciutto pizza for a limited time.
