Surf Brewery®, just over 2 years old, due to increased demand for it’s flavorful craft beer, is making plans to increase beer production 50 percent with the purchase of additional fermentation and brite tanks. Chiller & walk-in refrigeration will need to increase to meet demand as well. As a quality improvement, a new reverse osmosis water treatment system will be installed, in an effort to nullify the City of Ventura’s multiple water source changes. Also, the homebrew shop, the closest one for about 50 miles, will increase square footage 50%, to better service the local hobbyist homebrewers and wine makers in the area.
