Pittsburgh-based Vocelli Pizza said its limited-time Stuffed Crust pizza is a record-breaker in terms of sales.
Vocelli rolled out the Stuffed Crust pie as an LTO in January and continues to promote it. The company said the specialty pizza is “already over-performing in product mix and driving incremental ticket average.” Loaded with mozzarella and topped with 65 pepperoni slices, the pie starts at $14.99 and has been available at all Vocelli Pizza locations.
Meanwhile, the 77-store brand opened two new restaurants in the Pennsylvania market during the first two weeks of 2025. It has plans to open an additional 10 locations this year across all markets.
“We are thrilled to open at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania campus,” said Toni Bianco, CEO of Vocelli Pizza. “The response from the community has been welcoming and incredibly supportive.”
In tandem with the store openings and Stuffed Crust roll-out, the brand is also preparing to launch its new app in April. The app is “focused on improving the customer experience through ease of use and customized user-specific content.” Powered by LOKE, it will serve as Vocelli Pizza’s loyalty and ordering platform. Users will also notice more relevant and customized content, along with rewards and promotions with the app’s launch—another step Vocellis says it’s taking to cater to unique customer needs.
