Strategic Alliance Between Siab and Assipan-Confcommercio

A new collaboration between the most prestigious international exhibition dedicated to “Bakery, Pastry, Confectionery, Fresh Pasta and Pizza”, organised by VeronaFiere with Ipack-Ima Spa, and the association representing more than 25 thousand bakeries on a national scale.
Verona, 18 December 2006. Strategic alliance between SIAB, the International Techno-Bake Exhibition, and Assipan, the Italian Association of Bakeries belonging to Confcommercio. Collaboration between the most prestigious international exhibition dedicated to technologies, raw materials and semi-finished goods for production of bread, pastry, pizza, pasta and ice cream, organised by VeronaFiere together with Ipack-Ima Spa (a leading companyin the exhibition field in the sector for food packaging and processing technologies), and the association representing more than 25 thousand bakeries on a national scale offers new prospects for growth in the field and ensures further qualification of the event, scheduled at VeronaFiere 5-9 May 2007.

The objective of the partnership is to promote the entire bread value chain by upgrading and increasingly valorising an “art” – a major production sector in the Italian and international economy – even in cultural and professional terms.

The convergence of interests between SIAB and Assipan, with the reciprocal aim of supporting small businesses in their efforts to safeguard taste and dietary quality, will see the creation of joint initiatives to respond better to the market challenge in terms of evolution, trends and potential.

The two realities will join forces to investigate innovations and technical progress in the sector to turn them into opportunities for development.
