According to JacksonSun.com, “Sparky’s Pizzeria will donate 10 percent of all sales today to a scholarship fund honoring the memory of Morgan Kelley.”

“Kelley was a senior at Lambuth University when she died suddenly on Dec. 7, 2009, due to complications during open-heart surgery. Kelley, a biology major, was president of Lambuth’s Alpha Omicron Pi chapter, vice president of the Student Government Association, a Ned McWherter Scholar, a Who’s Who award recipient and a spokeswoman for the American Heart Association. She also was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Jackson. Previous fundraisers for the Morgan Kelley Memorial Fund have included a pancake breakfast and a yearly 5K. A golf scramble also is planned later this year.”
