According to a news report from triangle.bizjournals.com, “Souper Salad Inc. has hired a new chief executive officer to lead the company’s Souper Salad and Grandy’s restaurant brands.”
“Tim Taft, the former president and CEO of Pizza Inn and one-time president and chief operating officer of Whataburger Inc., will lead the San Antonio-based restaurant chain,” said the story. “As president and CEO of Pizza Inn (NASDAQ: PZZI), Taft led a 350-store international chain with sales of $250 million. Taft is credited for reversing a six-year decline in same store sales and with restoring a strained relationship with franchisees. Pizza Inn is based in The Colony, Texas.”
