Sofo Foods will host its Annual Food Show Oct. 4 at the Cobb Galleria Convention Center in Hall A. The No. 1 distributor of ethnic foods will host restaurant and pizzeria owners from all over the country. Sofo Foods’ top vendors will be showing their best products and giving new menu ideas. This year’s Expo features a pizza contest and the winner gets a place on the U.S. Pizza Team, and will go on to compete at the World Pizza Championships in Italy.

Also new this year will be an Online Ordering Fair sponsored by PMQ the No. 1 trade magazine for the pizza industry. Nine Pizzerias from 5 states, including four from Georgia will compete for a spot on the U.S. Pizza Team and a trip to Italy to compete in the World Pizza championships for 2016. Contestants include: Danny’s Pizza & Pasta Tega Cay, South Carolina Bexley Pizza Bexley, Ohio Warrior Drive In & Pizza Mansfield, Ohio Your Pie Athens, Georgia Tortora’s Owens Cross Roads, Alabama T.J.’s Italian American Restaurant Cordele, Georgia Slice & Pint Atlanta, Georgia Joe’s New York Pizzeria Alpharetta, Georgia Favilla’s NY Pizza Asheville, North Carolina Doors open at 12 noon on Sunday with the show floor closing at 6 p.m. The Expo is open to restaurant and pizzeria owners.
