“Since starting the business in 1990, owner Sal Lupoli has grown Lawrence, Mass.-based Sal’s Pizza into a chain of 30 retail franchises, two upscale restaurants and a central commissary that sells pizza to New England supermarkets and school systems,” but according to the article, “That expansion could come to a halt, however, if the price of gasoline keeps rising, Lupoli testified at a recent Senate hearing.”
