SIGEP World, the international trade show dedicated to foodservice excellence across gelato, pastry, chocolate, bakery, pizza and coffee, returns to the Rimini Expo Centre with its largest and most international edition to date. Pizza will take a more prominent role with Pizza (R)evolution, highlighting advanced doughs, formats and technologies that are gaining traction worldwide.

Organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), SIGEP World brings together manufacturers, suppliers, innovators and buyers from across the global foodservice industry, showcasing both traditional craftsmanship and the latest technologies shaping the future of out-of-home dining.

SIGEP World 2026 will feature a record 1,300 exhibiting brands across an expanded show floor. Italian companies remain the backbone of the event, representing the full spectrum of the country’s foodservice supply chain, from ingredients to equipment.

International participation continues to grow rapidly, with foreign exhibitors up 28% compared to the previous edition. In total, companies from 45 countries will be represented, reflecting the increasing global demand for premium foodservice products, technologies and know-how.

India has been named Guest Country for SIGEP World 2026 and is expected to send a delegation of approximately 50 top buyers, institutional representatives and exhibitors specializing in gelato-related technologies. SIGEP World’s growing international footprint is reinforced by its Top Buyer Program, which will bring more than 500 buyers from 75 countries to Rimini. The largest delegations are expected from the United States, India, Canada and Brazil.

SIGEP World is designed to highlight how different foodservice sectors intersect and evolve together. Gelato remains a centerpiece of the event, supported by educational initiatives such as What Is Gelato? and Gelato Meets Chains, which explore how Italian-style gelato has become a scalable, global business opportunity for chains, hotels and international operators.

New for 2026, the Luxury Hotel Food Experience will connect high-end hotel brands with top-tier suppliers from across the show. Designed for food-and-beverage managers and chefs, the program will feature curated experiences and discussions focused on premium hospitality.

Several dedicated hubs will spotlight key areas of growth and innovation:

  • Kitchen Equipment Hub, featuring technologies that are redefining food production, service and operations
  • Frozen Product Hub, highlighting the expanding role of high-quality frozen foods for chains and multi-unit concepts
  • Digital District, dedicated to software, smart payments and robotics transforming both front- and back-of-house operations

Together, these elements position SIGEP World as a comprehensive look at where the global foodservice industry is headed—and how operators and suppliers can adapt, scale and innovate in a rapidly changing market.
