According to a news report from www.abs-cbnnews.com, “Leading pizza food chain Shakey’s is looking at building more branches in and outside Metro Manila this year as part of a plan to further expand its reach and boost sales.”
“International Family Food Services (IFFS) of the Prieto family owns the local Shakey’s franchise. IFFS marketing manager Meggie Jose said the company is eyeing to open 11 to 12 new outlets this year, four of which will be located in the provinces. About 60 percent of the new stores would be company-owned,” said the story. “Some of the new stores are expected to rise in Makati, Quezon City, Manila, Las Piñas and Sta. Rosa, Laguna.”
