According to TheCalifornian.com, “the 17 branches of the Monterey County Free Libraries and Me-n-Ed’s Pizzeria in Seaside are teaming up for a one-day fund raiser benefiting the Foundation for Monterey County Free Libraries.”

“The fundraiser will be on International Literacy Day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday at 880 Broadway Ave., Seaside. Order a large or family size pizza for dine-in, take-out or delivery, mention Monterey County Free Libraries, and 40 percent of the proceeds will go to the Foundation for Monterey County Free Libraries.
