According to a news report from BizJournals.com, “Schwan Food Co. said its retail grocery unit will hike its prices, due to effect of rising demand for ethanol.”

“Bloomington-based Schwan Consumer Brands North America Inc. will raise prices approximately five percent across its portfolio of pizza and snack products. The new prices take effect August 26,” said the story. “The company distributes brands including Red Baron, Freschetta, Tony’s, and Wolfgang Puck All Natural pizzas, Asian Sensations snacks and appetizers, and Larry’s potatoes.”
