It’s pizza season all year round, but the wiener is the other big winner in the summertime. Now Chicago-based Sarpino’s USA is bringing the two favorites together in a new limited-time pie called the Chicago Hot Dog Pizza.

The new item incorporates all of the components of a traditional Chicago-style hot dog—yellow mustard, onions, relish, tomatoes and celery salt—on a pizza that also features sliced Vienna Beef hot dogs and Sarpino’s signature cheese blend.

The Chicago Hot Dog Pizza will be available through September 30 at all Sarpino’s USA locations in Illinois, Florida, Minnesota, Missouri and Kansas.

“We wanted to create a unique pizza to tie into summer and highlight the great flavors of a Chicago-style hot dog made with love and care using our premium, hand-crafted ingredients,” said Rebecca Kroupa, Sarpino’s director of R&D and operations training. “Also, who better to partner with on this pizza than Vienna Beef, the king of Chicago hot dogs?”

The new pizza follows on the heels of two other seasonal LTOs from Sarpino’s USA this year. In early February, the chain introduced the Pesto Magic Pizza, made with pesto sauce, mozzarella, grilled chicken, onions, tomatoes, chopped garlic and artichoke hearts. In early April, Sarpino’s rolled out a springtime special, the BBQ Pork Belly Pizza, showcasing premium pork belly, onions, banana peppers and BBQ sauce.
