In celebration of National Celiac Disease Awareness Day, September 13th,  SAM & LOUIE’S New York Pizzeria announces that Gluten free pizzas are now available.  In an effort to become more health conscious, Gluten free pizzas are now being offered at all 15 SAM & LOUIE’S locations.   In addition to SAM & LOUIE’S new crust, salad dressings, sauces and most meat toppings are Gluten free.

Celiac disease is becoming one of the most prevalent diseases in the world.  Studies show that one in 100 Americans suffers from this condition.  Celiac disease is caused by an adverse reaction to Gluten.  Gluten is most commonly found in wheat, rye and barley.  This disease usually occurs in children and adolescents.   SAM & LOUIE’S  was recently named one of the top 200 pizza chains in the country by Pizza Marketing Quarterly’s Pizza Magazine.  SAM & LOUIE’S offers nutritional information for their entire menu and is creating a heart healthy menu.
