There comes a time in every chef's life when he decides it's time to make pizza. That time has finally arrived for famed Kogi BBQ food truck chef Roy Choi.
According to Eater, Choi will open POT Pizza Joint (no marijuana, as far as we know) inside The Line Hotel in Los Angeles in November.
Customers will partake in pan pizza by the slice at POT, on weekends only.
Choi told Eater that the pizza's style falls “somewhere between Detroit, NYC and LA. Square but thin. Pan like Chicago but sauce on the bottom.” Sounds like there's a lot going on there, but Choi has a track record of great food, so the pizza is bound to be tasty, too.
