Round Table Pizza Announces Winner In
Creative Agency Review

Concord, CA – Round Table Pizza, Inc. announces Maiden Lane (San Francisco) as the winner in the creative agency review for the west coast chain’s pizza business.   Maiden Lane bested a field of agencies including finalists R/West (Portland) and WONGDOODY (Los Angeles).  Incumbent Siltanen & Partners declined to participate.

“Maiden Lane brought our brand positioning to life in a way that set them apart from the other finalists,” said Round Table Pizza’s chief marketing officer, Renae Scott. “The final round included some excellent strategic and creative presentations from the review participants.  Ultimately, we felt Maiden Lane’s understanding of our brand enabled them to develop a strategic campaign that will create an emotional connection with our target.”

Maiden Lane will begin work immediately on the campaign for Round Table Pizza’s new fall product.  “It’s refreshing to work with a marketing team who understands that strong branding can co-exist with the promotional realities of a highly competitive restaurant category,” said John Maxham, chief creative officer of Maiden Lane.

“We’re excited to have a partner that believes whole-heartedly in our positioning, and it was invigorating to see creative executions that fully-embodied Round Table’s desire to be the pizza restaurant that brings families together,” added Scott.
