According to Syracuse.com, just seven months into his retirement, Rosario "Junior" Pace, the long-time owner of Johnny's Pizza in Syracuse, died last week in Florida.

"Pace was 64," Syracuse.com said. "He died Oct. 26 at his home in Melbourne Beach after a brief illness. His wife, Kathy, was at his side. A memorial service will be held at noon Nov. 15 at Burns Garfield Funeral Home, 3175 E. Genesee St.
