Robert’s Pizza Company is going to the dogs again—this time for a “Howliday” parade that’s part of an ongoing holiday celebration leading up to Christmas Day.

As PMQ reported in the Moneymakers section of its December 2022 issue, Robert’s held its second annual “Howl-o-Ween” costume contest for man’s best friend on October 29. For the pizzeria’s latest outdoor blow-out on Saturday, December 17, a best-dressed contest will honor pups for their sartorial splendor, with prizes going to three winners. A professional photographer will be on hand to capture perfect holiday photos for the customers and their canine competitors, and Santa will be available all day for pictures.

Customers are encouraged to come in for brunch that day, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., clad in their ugliest or most comfortable sweater and enjoy zeppoles, French toast, omelets, smoked salmon, pizza and more. Cozy hot cocktails and $28 bottomless brunch mimosa will also be available, and guests can huddle around the patio’s fire pits to stay warm.

Meanwhile, owner Robert Garvey and his team will roll out two limited-time specialty pizzas for the holidays.

The Nutcracker Pizza sells for $28 and starts with an olive oil base, fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, dates and figs. It’s finished with Calabrian pepper oil, burrata, speck, pistachios, toasted walnuts and a balsamic glaze.

The second specialty pizza is the Foie Gras Pizza ($35), boasting truffle cream, caramelized onions, honey crisp apple, fresh mozzarella, seared foie gras, sherry maple gastritis, roasted hazelnuts and baby arugula.

Additionally, from Tuesday, December 20, through Thursday, December 22, customers can purchase Nutcracker Pizza Kits for $25 and make their own holiday pies at home. Kits include a dough ball and ingredients for one pie, along with instructions.
