RedBrick Pizza Named Among Top 10 of Restaurant Businesses’ Future 50

High Growth, High Concept Fast Casual Chain Shows Strong Gains

PALMDALE, Calif., Aug. 8 /PRNewswire/ — Fast-growing franchise RedBrick Pizza has been ranked among the top ten of Restaurant Business Magazine’s The Future 50. The list, compiled annually by the publication, ranks the fastest growing restaurants with sales between $25 and $50 million.

With a growth rate of over 39 percent in 2006 and well over $33.5 million in sales, RedBrick Pizza ranked 10th overall and 1st within its category on the prestigious list of up and coming concepts.

According to RedBrick President and co-founder Jim Minidis, the key to their success has been to keep the concept simple and easily replicated in each new location.

“Our menu is simple, but unique. Fresh, fire-roasted gourmet pizzas are ready to serve in just 3 minutes. For a lighter bite we offer signature Fhazani(TM) sandwiches and delicious chopped salads using the freshest ingredients. Top things off with a cool authentic Italian gelato and you have a three course gourmet meal, ready to enjoy!”

The decor of each of RedBrick’s Neighborhood Cafes is decidedly upscale with bright, colorful interiors and striking exterior facades. The centerpiece of each store is the proprietary RedBrick oven that fire roasts each gourmet pizza and Fhazani(TM) sandwich at 1,000 degrees to deliver a crisp, golden brown crust and piping hot fresh ingredients in just three minutes.

“We’ve carved a new category for ourselves,” says Minidis. “It’s very satisfying to have our customers, our franchisees and restaurant industry press validate our concept with their patronage and their accolades.”

With over 50 stores around the U.S. today, RedBrick has enjoyed double digit growth in each of the last three years. The company expects to have over 60 stores in place by year’s end and another 100 franchises under development.
