“The two will come together May 3 when a club within the Scotland County Chapter of the American Red Cross holds its first fundraiser at Pizza Inn on Main Street in Laurinburg. ‘We would like to invite everyone to the Pizza Inn/Scotland High School American Red Cross Club Charity Fundraiser, to be held from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Pizza Inn in Laurinburg,” said Carol Ann Lentz, executive director of the county chapter. ‘The event was put together by the Red Cross Club of Scotland High School, with Pizza Inn donating 10 percent of the night’s sales plus all tips and donations to the Scotland County Chapter of the American Red Cross.’”
“Scotland High School Senior Kayla Pate is president of the Red Cross Club. ‘On Tuesday we will have our club members helping out as waitstaff, busing tables, filling drinks, and seating customers,’ Pate said.”
