Southwest Style Pizza

Description

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c. (4 oz.) pizza sauce
  • 1/2 c. (4 oz.) salsa*
  • 1 (12-inch) pizza crust
  • 2/3 c. (4 oz.) canned black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 c. (6 oz.) DOLE Pineapple Tidbits or Pineapple Cubes, drained
  • 1/2 c. (2 oz.) DOLE Red or Green Bell
  • Pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 c. (2 oz.) diced green chiles or jalapeno pepper slices
  • 1/4 c. chopped DOLE Green Onions
  • 1-1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded
  • mozzarella cheese
  • 2 T. chopped fresh DOLE
  • Cilantro

Directions:
Combine pizza sauce and salsa; spoon sauce over pizza crust. Top with beans, pineapple, bell pepper, chiles and green onions. Sprinkle with cheese and cilantro.

Bake at 425F. 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Garnish with extra salsa and avocado slices, if desired.

NOTE: In place of salsa, 1 cup pizza sauce can be used.
