Mint Julep Field Green Salad



  • 1 8 oz. package pre-washed, pre-cut field greens salad mix
  • 2 oz. real bacon bits
  • 1 Hard Boiled Egg, diced
  • 4 T. Small pecan pieces
  • Fresh ground pepper to taste

Ham – substitute ham for the bacon. Take thinly sliced deli ham and cut into small strips.

Shrimp – substitute 1/2 c. small salad shrimp for the bacon


  • 4.5 oz. Mint Julep Gourmet Cooking Sauce
  • 1.5 oz. Olive Oil (dressing is 3/4 sauce and 1/4 olive oil)


Place field greens salad mix in large bowl, adding the egg, bacon and pecans. Combine sauce and olive oil in container with top that can be shaken. Shake well and pour over the salad. Toss to coat all salad with the dressing, adding fresh ground pepper over the top and its ready to serve. Enjoy!
