One of the first recipes ever made with The Bacon Jams – we’ve seen it recreated with many variations and all have been delicious!
8 oz The Bacon Jams Red Chile & Garlic Bacon Spread
1 12 inch flatbread crust or dough rolled out to the same size
1 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
2 cups fresh arugula
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
If using a prepared crust, follow the package instructions. If using raw dough, preheat your oven to 350°F, oil a baking sheet, and lay your 12 in dough in the pan. Spread The Bacon Jams Red Chile & Garlic Bacon Spread evenly across the dough or crust and sprinkle the crumbled Gorgonzola evenly over the pie. Bake for 20 minutes, or until your crust is golden brown. While you are waiting, lightly wilt the arugula in a pan with the remaining oil. Top the flatbread with arugula, cut, and serve.
