Chicken and Noodles



  • 2 c.cooked chicken, diced
  • 6 c.chicken broth
  • 1 lb. frozen egg noodles, uncooked (or
  • your favorite noodle type)
  • 1/2 medium red pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, cut into rings
  • 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced OR 1-4oz. canned mushroom slices
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Place chicken in a large potwith broth. Add peppers and onions;simmer 10 minutes. Add noodles tobroth and cook according to packagedirections. Add mushrooms five minutesbefore noodles are done. Serve hot.
