Basil and Plum Tomato Monterey Pizza



  • 1 – 12" parbaked Pizza Crust
  • As needed McCormick Monterey Pizza Marinade
  • As needed cornmeal
  • 3 oz. Pizza Sauce
  • 1-1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese
  • 12 slices Plum tomato, 1/4 thick
  • 2 T. red onion, chopped
  • 12 each Basil leaves, fresh

Monterey Pizza Marinade

4 T. McCormick Spice Blends Monterey Style Seasoning

1 c. McCormick Roasted Garlic Flavored Oil

Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl, mix thoroughly.


Place pizza crust on a pizza pan. Brush bottom of the crust liberally with Monterey Pizza Marinade. Sprinkle with some cornmeal, turn over, and spread pizza sauce evenly on top. Spread mozzarella cheese evenly on top of sauce.

Place red bell pepper rings and shrimp evenly on top of cheese. Drizzle top of pizza with more marinade for an extra burst of flavor. Place pizza in a convection oven preheated to 375F. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and beginning to turn golden brown. Remove pizza from oven and cool slightly. Cut each pizza into 8 slices for serving.
