RATIONAL Caters to Bakeries with New Grill and Pizza Tray
To ensure that large pizzas up to 360 millimeters in diameter can be baked to perfection in the SelfCooking Center®, RATIONAL is offering the grill and pizza tray in the bakery size, 400 by 600 millimeters. The new tray fits perfectly in the bakery and butcher grid shelves and mobile oven racks.
The new “Bake pizza” automatic cooking process in the SelfCooking Center has created an entirely new standard for the preparation of oven-fresh pizzas and tender grilled products. An increasing number of pizzerias are already using the simple controls of the SelfCooking Center to prepare original Italian- or American-style pizzas.

The SelfCooking Center has simplified the cooking process to the press of a button, saving time as well as expensive training and retraining due to staff turnover. It detects product-specific requirements, the size of the food to be cooked and load size. Then, the SelfCooking Center® automatically calculates cooking time, temperature and ideal cooking cabinet climate on an individual basis. It continuously monitors and adjusts 3,600 times per hour to achieve the desired result.
