“Wouldst thou like to live deliciously?” That’s the question cleverly posed on the Instagram page for Problem Child, a soon-to-open New York-style pizza shop in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Founded by Adam and Alicia Sweet, who also own the Neapolitan-style King Dough brand in Indianapolis, Problem Child’s menu promises a New York-inspired pizza vibe, plus a smashburger, meatball sub and chicken Parm sandwich.

Problem Child is scheduled to open on March 4. Writing for the Arkansas Times, Rhett Brinkley got a sneak preview taste of the menu recently and pronounced it “devilishly good.”

According to Brinkley, he and his editor “were impressed with the beautifully charred crust and flavor combination on the 18” traditional New York-style Little Devil with marinara, mozzarella, basil, garlic, pepperoni, bacon, candied jalapeños, spicy honey, Parmesan and dollops of ricotta.”

Other pies featured on Instagram include the Dangerfield (mozzarella, taleggio, garlic, mushrooms, tomatoes, oregano, pickled red onions and pecorino) and the Screaming Weasel (moss, feta, roasted red peppers, Castelvetrano olives, caramelized onions, red onions, garlic, artichoke, basil and fresh lemon).

Brinkley added that a friend described the crust as “perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.”

The Little Rock Hot wings are reportedly so spicy, the restaurant won’t give customers a refund if they can’t handle the heat.

“Overall,” Brinkley wrote, “there’s a playful aesthetic to the place and a palpable nod to ‘90s culture.”
