In this installment of PMQ Live Update with Brian Hernandez, John Stetson, owner of Stoner’s Pizza Joint franchises in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Savannah, Georgia, talks about staying vocal, communicating with employees, and helping the community with help from the community during the coronavirus pandemic.

With the infrastructure for delivery and carryout already in place, Stetson focused on shifting the workforce into these areas with employees who were able to not only stay on the job but also take on additional hours – then sending them home after every shift with a whole meal for their families. By stretching his delivery service, waiving delivery fees, and offering specials, Stetson wants to reach both new customers and current ones.

“At a time like this, you need to be vocal,” Stetson tells PMQ’s Brian Hernandez. “Let people know the measures you are taking…and let everyone know that you are still open and able to deliver and able to provide carryout services. We want to take advantage of this opportunity to get people pizza at a very affordable price. ”
