Any pizzeria will sell you a pie and some beer. Pizza Porta is the only one we’ve heard of that will load you up with a Christmas tree, too.

With locations in Philadelphia and Jersey City and Asbury Park, New Jersey, Pizza Porta offers customers a seasonal date-night bundle like none other: Couples can share two pizzas and a carafe of wine or pitcher of beer, then go home with a Fraser fir tree of their choice.

“Come with an appetite, leave with a tree” is the slogan for the promotion, which started after Thanksgiving and continues through Christmas Eve. The offer and price vary from one location to another. At the Asbury Park store, couples pay $40 for their choice of Marinara or Margherita pizzas, plus the wine (white, red or rose) or beer (Asbury Park Blonde or Yuengling) and a small tree. The price goes up to $50 for a medium tree and to $60 for a large one.

The Jersey City restaurant offers a similar deal with just one tree size—a five- to six-footer for $40. The deal gets pricier at the Philly location, but customers get more choices. In addition to the Marinara or Margherita pizzas, they can also order a Meatball pie. The beer selections are different, too (Delco Lager, Peroni or Allagash White), while the price for the package starts at $60 for a smaller tree (three to four feet) and $80 for a taller one (five to six feet).
