According to TheNews-Messenger.com, “Mark Franz, the owner of Fremont’s Little Caesar’s restaurant, was touched by the story of a local family whose house was destroyed by fire nearly two weeks ago and decided to offer a sales promotion to raise money for the couple.”

“Franz plans to give 10 percent of his Monday sales, which figures out to 50 cents of each $5 pizza he sells, directly to the Billers. He said his father owned a grocery store in a small town in northern Michigan that burned down in the early winter about 20 years ago, and he remembers how tough that was on him and the family. ‘And that was just his business, this is their home,’ Franz said. ‘This time of the year is just the worst time for something like that. I can’t imagine how hard that must be.'”
