According to The Buffalo News, "an Amherst pizzeria owner was ordered Friday to pay the state $3,945 a month for three years, beginning Monday, to make up for sales taxes he failed to pay."

"Erie County Judge Michael F. Pietruszka also placed Jason Majewski, 43, the owner of Pizza Works at 712 Maple Road, on probation for three years. Majewski had pleaded guilty Nov. 25 to misdemeanor offering a false instrument for filing. Prosecutor Susan H. Sadinsky said Majewski still owes the state $142,053 in sales taxes since 2004."
