According to a news report from townonline.com, “In 2003, 29-year-old Nondas Pamfilis traveled from Athens, Greece to Chelmsford hoping someday to open his own Greek-style pizzeria.”
“Four years later, Pamfilis has reached his dream with Villa Roma, Tewksbury’s newest pizzeria, located on Livingston Street, which will have its grand opening on Sept. 19,” said the story. “But initially, it was painting and not pita and pies that nearly defined Pamfilis’ future. “I wanted to either learn how to run a pizzeria or I was going to learn how to run a painting company like my father did,” Pamfilis said. Yet the world of brushes and rollers didn’t pan out for Pamfilis.
