PizzaRev-olution Reaches Utah, Five Franchise Locations to Open in Six Months

Away We Dough, Inc. is hosting the Grand Opening today of Utah’s first PizzaRev – abuild-your-own artisanal pizza concept that has earned a loyal following of Southern California fans for its fresh take on an American favorite. The new West Valley restaurant is the first of five franchise locations planned to open in Utah in the next six months.

Away We Dough, LLC is part of William Tell, Inc. based in Salt Lake City, UT. The group owns and operates 18 Applebee’s and eight Famous Dave’s in Utah and Washington. The Restaurant Finance Monitor placed William Tell, Inc. at 151st of the Top 200 franchisees in the U.S. based on annual revenue.

The distinctive “Craft Your Own” pizza assembly process begins with a friendly greeting from a PizzaRev “crafter” who assists each guest in customizing their personal 11” pizza. Construction starts with the crust selection, either original or gluten-free, each one pressed into a thin canvas from a plump, homemade dough ball. Guests then choose from four signature sauces, including a savory organic marinara, a creamy white alfredo, and a spicy-sweet BBQ. Finally, the masterpiece is completed with favorite selections from an array of artisanal cheeses & 30+ fresh ingredients, ranging from traditional favorites like pepperoni and ground beef to premium selections including sweet fennel sausage, Kalamata olives, and fresh-picked basil and arugula. Each pizza, no matter how many ingredients are selected, costs $7.99. 

PizzaRev’s interior design is sleek, simple and modern. Exposed ceilings, concrete floors and natural tones offer a minimalist yet inviting atmosphere, where the focus is on providing the guest an interactive pizza experience unlike they’ve ever had.

Most unique to PizzaRev, and what enables the restaurant’s unprecedented speed of service, is the custom-built, 900-degree stone hearth oven. Guests watch the dancing flames in the background as their pizzas are fired to a perfect, Roman-style crispiness in less than three minutes.
