Paul Vella – 1935 – 2007

It is with great sorrow that I write to you today. My father, Paul Vella, who co-founded Crown with me and who still continued to participate in our company, passed away on Saturday, April 14th, 2007 at the age of 72.

My dad was a great father, teacher and a man of business. He instilled in me the value of hard work and fanned the flame of entrepreneurship within me. Though officially retired, he continued to come to the factory every day, and we will miss him dearly. He had a friend in everyone he met.

The family will receive friends at the Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas St. West (one block east of Runnymede) Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass will be held Wednesday, April 25th, at 10 am, from St. Gregory’s Church, 122 Rathburn Road (at Kipling).
