Pizza Works is proud to announce the upcoming fourth annual “Eat It! Pizza Works Pizza Eating Contest,” to be held July 4, 2014, at noon, during Howland Township’s annual Fourth of July festivities at Howland High School, 200 Shaffer Drive, Warren, OH 44484. 

This competition pits up to 36 contestants against each other in a battle to be the first to eat a 12-inch cheese pizza in its entirety. The winner will be awarded $500. The contest is limited to the first 36 people who register. Contestants can obtain the registration form by visiting any Pizza Works location or by downloading the form online at www.mypizzaworks.com

Bill Siwicki, president of Ohio Pizza Company, LLC, parent company of Pizza Works, says, “I am so excited about how much this competition has grown. We now have contestants coming from as far south as Georgia and as far west as Wisconsin. This year is going to be big!”

The Howland Pizza Works location is open for lunch and dinner Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Warren Pizza Works location is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Hubbard Pizza Works location is open for lunch and dinner Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Carry-out, dine-in, delivery and catering services are available. For customers who are short on time, Pizza Works offers readymade pizza slices, calzones and focaccia bread weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a quick lunch on the go.
