Made-to-order pizza is gaining a foothold in southern New Jersey. Bricco Coal Fired Pizza in Westmont, which opened this spring, does a big business in handcrafted pizzas including gluten-free and veggie options.
The Courier-Post reports even long-time pizzerias are mixing it up and riding the tide of renewed interest in all things pizza.
Some of these pizza heavy-hitters include Stella's and Jules Thin Crust in Cherry Hill.
