According to a news report from bizjournals.com, “Four pizza restaurants in the Dayton area closed unexpectedly this week, but the company is looking for a new franchise owner to reopen them.”

“The franchisee for CiCi’s Pizza “Kyle Smith, vice president of operations for Coppell, Texas-based CiCi’s Corp., released a statement saying CiCi’s did not anticipate the stores closing in Dayton, which had locations in Kettering, Huber Heights, Beavercreek and Sugarcreek Township, closed all four locations,” said the story.Smith said the closings were a result of the “economic crisis” affecting consumers and restaurants in Dayton and across the country. Smith said employees of the four locations will be offered other job opportunities at CiCi’s restaurants in Columbus and Cincinnati. He also said the company is looking to reopen stores in the Dayton area.”
