PORTSMOUTH — For every pizza sold at Flatbread Pizza Co. on Tuesday, $3.50 will go toward Great Bay Services, a nonprofit organization that assists people with disabilities who live and work on the Seacoast.
Since 1954, Newington-based Great Bay Services has helped people with intellectual and developmental disabilities be an active part of the community. Service and support is provided to more than 100 adults daily.
Great Bay Services will hold a fund-raiser from 4:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Flatbread Co., 138 Congress St., Portsmouth.

“This gives us a chance to enhance our services for people we see in the community,” said Stu Simon, director of development. “It also gives us the opportunity to present our mission to the public.”
Great Bay Services provides housing opportunities, employment assessment and placement, nursing services, recreational and educational programs and community integration.
The fund-raiser will include a silent auction and raffle. Among the items to be auctioned are a Stonewall Kitchen gift basket, a quilt and pillow set and a seascape watercolor painting by local artist Janice Brown. The raffle item will be a $45 gift certificate to Silpada Designs Jewelry.
