Philadelphia has been getting a lot of play in recent years as a growing pizza town, and for good reason. 

Philadelphia magazine recently listed more than 30 Philly based pizzerias–from classic to newbie–that are making headlines.

Some of the pizzerias mentioned in the article included the historic Tacconelli's, which started serving tomato pies in the 1940's; Bufad, serving up Neapolitan and Roman-style pizzas; and Santucci's, with its Philly square pie.
