Pizza Inn is breaking into a new category and taking its desserts up a notch with the launch of the Stuffed Crust Pizzert, featuring the Chocolate Chip Pizzert.
The new menu item boasts a warm, gooey chocolate fudge-stuffed crust and was created by Chef Patty Scheibmeir, who has been credited with inventing the stuffed-crust pizza for Pizza Hut.
“We launched a whole new category of pizza in the ‘90s with cheese-stuffed crust,” Scheibmeir said. “Now, 30 years later, we’re breaking ground and redesigning how people eat Pizzerts: crust first. It’s an incredible opportunity to innovate again and bring this vision to life with America’s favorite hometown pizza buffet. We’ve enjoyed building on a concept that’s been loved for decades with a sweet twist.”

In addition to the Chocolate Chip Pizzert, Pizza Inn plans to explore additional flavors with the Stuffed Crust Pizzert next spring, offering even more ways to satisfy customers’ sweet cravings. This menu innovation comes after the successful run of the limited-time Sandworm Pizzert, a green Bavarian cream with gummy worms and sprinkles.
The Stuffed Crust Pizzert is now available at all Pizza Inn locations.
