Pizza Inn Courts Franchisees by Killing Royalty Fee

“This month Pizza Inn dropped its first-year royalty fee to zero percent from 4 percent to spur franchised expansion. “We felt it was an opportunity for us to provide a very compelling offer against other franchise concepts someone might choose,” explains Charlie Morrison, president and CEO of The Colony, Texas-based restaurant chain, who’s attempting to turn around the 50-year-old company,” according to the story.
