Agreement to Provide Chain with New Restaurant on City’s East Side

THE COLONY, Texas, May 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — PIZZA INN, INC. (NASDAQ:PZZI) announced the signing of a development agreement with Dallas-area residents Aaron and Deena Tran to open a new Pizza Inn buffet on the city’s east side by mid-Summer 2007.

The 3,500 square-foot restaurant will feature the brand’s new buffet concept, highlighted by a game room featuring today’s hottest video games. The new restaurant will be located near the intersection of Parker Road and Avenue K in East Plano.

“Our roots are in this area. The first Pizza Inn opened in Dallas in 1958,” said Pizza Inn President and CEO Tim Taft. “Our goal is to rebuild this brand locally and with the Trans opening their second Pizza Inn restaurant, we are on our way to accomplishing that objective. In addition to its new buffet features, the new Plano Pizza Inn will spotlight classic offerings such as signature pizzas and pizzert dessert offerings.

“This is a very exciting time for our family,” said franchisee Aaron Tran. “We look forward to serving another generation of Pizza Inn customers in Plano.”
