Moving is stressful. Pizza can help.

Pizza Hut is playing off that idea with its latest innovation, the “Moving Box Table”—a corrugated structure designed to provide an impromptu tabletop for a pizza box. It’s a way for consumers to elevate their moving day game.

“Many can relate to the chaos that comes with moving, and the last thing you want to worry about is unpacking to enjoy a hard-earned meal at the end of a long day,” said Melissa Friebe, chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut. “We love that pizza is a universal moving-day tradition for many, but we hate that it [often] ends up eaten on the floor. This Moving Box Table will help us show up for Pizza Hut customers by providing not just a delicious pizza after a stressful moving day but somewhere easy and comfortable to enjoy it, too.”

According to recent data Pizza Hut included in a press release, 87% of Americans have ordered pizza during a move, and 79% have eaten their moving-day pizza on the floor. In response, Pizza Hut is introducing the limited-edition Moving Box Tables in select U.S. cities known for high moving rates.

The Moving Box Table features a red checkered corrugated structure that can be folded into a sturdy base, supporting the pizza box as a tabletop. This design allows movers to enjoy their meal without needing to eat on the floor after a day of moving and before furniture is set up.

The Moving Box Table is available with orders of a large menu-priced pizza at select Pizza Hut locations in Dallas, Charlotte, and Orlando. This offer is available via carryout only, starting on Aug. 27, while supplies last.
