According to TVNZ.co.AZ, “Fast food franchises owner Restaurant Brands reported an 1.8% increase in third quarter sales, again led by a strong performance at its KFC franchise.”

“But the Pizza Hut chain has suffered another drop in sales. Total sales for all businesses – KFC, Pizza Hut and Starbucks – rose to $74.2 million in the three months to December 6, compared to $72.9 million in the same period last year. Same store sales also rose 1.8% to $71.7 million, the company said in statement today. On a year to date basis, sales rose 3.3% to $250 million compared to the previous year, with same store sales up 4% to $243.7 million.”
