After all the hoopla about Pizza Hut's branding initiative into gourmet world, what exactly has the No. 1 pizza chain accomplished? A 3.5% drop in quarterly sales.

Consumerist.com reports Pizza Hut's  complete menu revamp, adding new crusts, drizzles and toppings seems to have stalled as the company announced its quarterly earnings and said that the “new ‘Flavors of Now’ positioning did not deliver the sales momentum that we had anticipated.” That said, the franchisee’s CEO says the company still believes in the new flavors; it’s just a matter of getting the world to actually try them.
