""According to WellingtonDailyNews.com, “Pizza Hut restaurants in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas will hold a fundraiser to benefit the United Way Tornado Disaster Fund on Monday, June 6.  More than 550 Pizza Hut locations across the four states will participate.”

“Fifteen percent of all dine-in, carryout and delivery sales on June 6 will go to the United Way Tornado Disaster Fund to assist the victims in various communities, such as Joplin, Mo.; Reading, Kan.; Chickasha, Okla., and Strawberry, Ark. NPC International owned and operated the two Pizza Hut locations in Joplin.  Two NPC employees were killed and both Joplin restaurants were destroyed by the tornado. ‘We cannot begin to express the sadness we have felt over the last several days after losing two of our employees and witnessing the massive devastation in Joplin.  We feel like we need to do everything we can to help those affected.’ said Jim Schwartz, President and CEO of NPC International, the largest Pizza Hut franchisee.'”
