Pizza Guys, headquartered in Sacramento, has jumped on the pineapple express for Summer 2023 with a campaign highlighting several menu items featuring the fruit as a topping.

“We have the ultimate selection of specialty pizzas for every pineapple pizza lover,” Shahpour Nejad, CEO and founder of Pizza Guys, said in a press release. “Pineapple is the perfect fruit for the warmer seasons, and we want to emphasize that by launching a campaign focused just on this item! While you can add pineapple to anything, we invite everyone to dive into our fantastic new flavors, specially crafted for this occasion.”

The pineapple campaign runs through July 31. It’s headlined by Pizza Guys’ two newest menu items: the Hawaiian Luau Stuffed Crust Pizza and the Hawaiian BBQ Pizza, both available for a limited time only.

The Hawaiian Luau Stuffed Crust Pizza is made with the brand’s signature stuffed crust and topped with Canadian-style bacon, applewood-smoked bacon, juicy pineapple chunks, and extra mozzarella. For thin crust lovers, the Hawaiian BBQ Pizza boasts a Tuscany thin crust, grilled chicken, green bell peppers, applewood-smoked bacon and pineapple chunks, with a BBQ sauce drizzle for a finish.

As an added bonus, Pizza Guys is offering a $4 discount on the large specialty pizzas mentioned above for the pineapple pizza campaign.

Other items featured in the campaign include the Serrano Chili Pizza (mozz, Canadian bacon, applewood-smoked bacon, red onions, pineapple chunks, Kogi Serrano Chili sauce and cilantro); the Hawaiian Delight Pizza (Canadian bacon, mozz and pineapple); and the Spinach Pineapple Salad (spinach, bacon, gorgonzola, pineapple and a choice of dressings).
