Organic, eco-friendly pizza franchise to expand into Palm Beach Gardens, Boca Raton and Jupiter, Fla.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla., May 14, 2007 – Pizza Fusion (www.pizzafusion.com), the leader in the organic restaurant industry and a better quality of life, recently announced three new stores will open in South Florida through a deal with new franchisees Linda and Rick Wilson, of Hillsboro Beach, Florida.

Together, the husband and wife entrepreneurial duo shares a collective wealth of business knowledge and food industry expertise. Linda Wilson formerly played a key role in the development and management of numerous Pottery Barn stores. “We’re really excited to be onboard with Pizza Fusion. Their concern for the environment and healthy, organic food menu is an excellent fit with our lifestyles,” Linda explains. “Being a part of a green business that shares our values will be rewarding on a number of levels. We’re proud to bring a healthy, organic, eco-friendly option to these growing communities.”

Rick Wilson has 15 years of food industry experience as Director of Sales for home delivery products with Quantum Foods where he manages sales exceeding $40 million a year. Quantum Foods is the largest portion control packer in the world, custom packaging beef, pork and poultry products for food service distributors, major restaurant chains, the U.S. military and more.

“From an entrepreneurial standpoint, Pizza Fusion is a niche business model in its early stages with tremendous income potential,” Rick explains. “I think that the concept isn’t just good for the times, but good for the future. There’s a shift in society taking place where everyone seems to realize that their impact on the environment is taking a toll on the earth. Pizza Fusion reflects this awareness and exemplifies the change in society as a leader in green business practices.”

Rick and Linda already have their first location picked out in Palm Beach Gardens at the Midtown Plaza (on PGA Boulevard just east of I-95) at 4783 PGA Blvd, Unit D101, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418. The Palm Beach Gardens store, scheduled to open in this fall, will be 1600 square feet, seat approximately 25 people and feature an open kitchen format.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Rick and Linda to the Pizza Fusion family,” Vaughan Lazar, co-founder of Pizza Fusion, explains. “Their expertise in the food industry will be a wonderful asset to the company. We’re confident they will represent Pizza Fusion well with their proven leadership abilities and shared values for an organic and eco-friendly lifestyle.”
